Weather

A few light clouds in the sky but otherwise it will be a fantastic day in Val d’Isere – mainly blue skies and sunshine accompanied by light winds and warm maximum temperature of +6° at 2000m and -3° at 3000m.

Tomorrow looks to be another fantastic day like today.

Ski Report

About 96% of the pistes in Val d’Isere are open today and everything is in good shape.  Both the links to Tignes are open.

If heading off-piste the risk of avalanche is a 3/5 in Le Fornet and a 2/5 elsewhere.  Watch out for rising temperatures as well as wind slabs that have formed on North and West facing slopes.  Also be careful where a lot of new snow has fallen as the cohesion in the snowpack is fairly low.
